Anime Rant - Monochrome Factor

Hello sweeties <3

I ish still alive but as my life is pretty boring at the moment I didn't have anything interesting to blog about ^^" Well, I could have ranted about the latest Doctor Who episode but nobody would have taken an interest to that...if that ever stopped me though xD I just couldn't get myself up to posting *hahaha* But today I just need to talk about an anime that I recently discovered *O* It is called Monochrome Factor and it was already aired in 2008.

source
The story revolves around the typical highschool slacker Nikaidou Akira, who really isn't that typical at all as he excels at every sports. Akira is soon approached by a suspicious looking (handsome xD) guy called Shirogane who is telling him that they are bound by fate. Soon Akira and also two of his friends are thrown into the fight between Shadowworld and World of Light and our protagonist seems to be more than just a slacker.

Well, the story doesn't really seem too interesting, the normal highschooler receiving magical powers and growing as a person-story BUT it is far from that. With a good portion of slapstick and also Shonen-Ai this anime is really worth a watch. Also the characterdesign is really nice to look at and there are a great deal of Bishonen :3

It is not the height of animation and the storytelling but I couldn't stop watching it. I laughed so hard at some parts of the story that I couldn't breathe afterwards *thumbs up*

Which anime did you watch recently?

Have a nice day <3

Top 3 - Anime based on Otome Games

Hello sweeties <3

And another break from my Paris posts xD I promise I will finish the posts about Paris within July ;) But today I want to continue with another Top 3. This time, as I am binge-watching those kind of anime at the moment, I want to show you my Top 3 anime based on otome games. For those of you who don't know what an otome game is, here a short description:

You are playing a girl, that most of the time has perfect characteristic features and is overly nice etc. and you come to a new environment (eg. school, fantasy world) and in this new "world" the inhabitants seem to be only goodlooking guys. And in the beginning of the game you can choose which guy you want to go after. Through decisions within the game you either get your goal or you don't xD And that is roughly what otome games are xD And I love watching anime based on those games :3 You could call that my guilty pleasure *hihi*

1. 遥かなる時の中で (In a distant time)
For the life of me I couldn't find the opening to the anime...only found the commercial for Maihitoyo. Anyways, this anime is set in the Kyoto of the Heian period and Akane is sent back there to gather 8 warriors to safe the country from an evil clan...if I remember correctly, which I actually don't. I just know that I loved watching the anime and I already watched Maihitoyo 5 times *coughs*

2. 神々のあそび (The game of Gods)
This one I watched just recently and I loved it. The female character wasn't too stupid and all the guys are just toooooo cute. This time our female lead is transported to a school where gods from different countries have to learn about the human heart in order to avoid the destruction of, well, everything and heroine Kusanagi Yui has the "honor" to teach the handsome gods.

3. 歌のPrinceさま - まじ1000% LOVE
I can't even explain why I like this one so much...I have no excuse whatsoever xD I just really liked watching it and the music is so damn catchy...I probably only like the anime because of the main song XD The story is as always not to complicated...this time it is set at a music school for highly gifted musicians...and no world saving is needed her xD

Do you watch this kind of anime? What do you think about them?

Have a nice day~

Shall we Date?

Hello sweeties <3

It seems that I have found myself a new obsession...well, actually it is pretty old - I am talking about Otome Games. So far I have only played the Yaoi-Version of those games but now that the smartphones are getting better every minute there are also many games for your mobile phone. And I am addicted to the Shall we date?-Series. At the moment I am playing 3 games simultaniousely and you can actually really play them for free ;D There are some installments of that series where you have to buy each story on its own...I am not playing those...yet but they seem interesting xD But I wanna talk about the games I am playing now :3

1. Ninja Love+
As the name suggests it is a game about Ninja ;) You can choose between four characters and have to try to get a good ending with the guy you chose. As in every Otome-Game you don't have so many choices...either there is a great, mediocre or bad answer and you have to get to know your character to get the ending you want. Each ending gives you more achievements so playing one story a couple of times is a good choice ;) Contrary to other Otome-Games for normal consoles here you use up power that either regenerates after some hours or you can buy items with real or in-game money. There is also a social option where you can add friends to get boni ^^ Well, the story is really romantic. You start as the princess of the ninja who is thrown into this title and has to stand her ground beneath the ninja...has to grow as a person and well, fall in love xD If you are looking for a game with depth you shouldn't play the games from Shall we Date? ;D

2. My sweet Prince
The system is roughly the same as in Ninja Love+. You use power to advance the story, items if you want to be faster, can buy those items with ingame money or use real money, dress your avatar to get more charm points and a higher love ranking and find friends to get more ingame money and achievements. So the games only differ in setting and background story. Here you are a traveller in an arabic country beeing accused of robbery. Through some unfortunate events you come to the palace and find yourself in the situation to be the fiancee of one of the 6 princes - each of them different and you have the one you chose fall in love with you. There are different endings for each prince and each one activates more achievements.

3. Destiny Ninja

Well, another game with Ninja in it but this time you are a girl who lost her memories and is found by...whomever you want...I decided on Miyamoto Yoshitsune for my first try ;) Except for the story it is pretty much the same as the other two games. Only now you have to get friends with the animal companion of your Crush ;)

The artwork for all three games is really good and everytime I used up all my power I can't wait till the power is recharged and I can play on :3 It doesn't take up much of your time and it is fun to play inbetween...and which girl doesn't want to be adored by all those pretty men? ;D

Did you already play Otome Games? What did you think about them?

Have a nice day everyone <3

What's it called? K...duh~

Hello my sweeties <3

So many posts in my head that I want to do...and I am not doing them because I am rather posting about some new anime I discovered ^^" But I honestly will come around to post the other stuff as well...I promise ^^

So, what is this new anime? As the title of this post suggests it is called K...I don't know yet why it is called that way as only the first episode has been released so far but from what I can tell it is set in another, lets call it dimension where psychics seem to rule the world xD and is about a guy called Yashiro Isana, or just Shiro, who doesn't think of anything bad while walking the streets and suddenly is attacked (in the most stylish way) by some dangerous looking guys. I love the style and the character design...I squee-ed and fangirled the whole episode, so many bishônen <3 All in all it seems like a crazy mix of Code Geass and Durarara...and I love both anime *all thumbs up for that*

So, what anime are you watching at the moment? Can you suggest good ones that I really should watch?
