7 things~

Hello sweeties <3

It is Monday again and you know what that means, right ;) Also I am really on time this week *hahaha* Gotta make up for the weeks when I was to late in posting my 7 things ^^" So lets start~

1. Watched Disney's The Beauty and the Beast again after a pretty long time. I still love that movie as dearly as 20 years ago *_*

2. Went shopping with one of my Japanese colleagues and had a really great time. Also found the latest LE by Essence...that I will talk about soon..ish xD

3. Went to the 1st Bookblogger regular table in Stuttgart...it was really really nice to meet new people who love books as much as I do...although I was really nervous that nobody would talk to me let alone like me x"D Thanks to my cute Nezumi for encouraging me <3

4. Started with another "diet"...well, not actual diet but in lack of a better word I call it that. Actually it is a specific way in which you change your eating habits. It is called "Schlank im Schlaf" (Loose weight while sleeping) and I heard from friends that it is working really good for them so I also will give it a shot :)

5. Together with Nezumi I met a really nice photographer by chance in Stuttgart and she took really nice pictures of us together. Can't wait to get the finished products :3

6. Got complimented on my eyes :3 In the past I considered my eyes an outstanding trait of my face because they are rather big and they have a nice color of blue but recently I forgot that someone could even remotely consider them beautiful...stupid me *hahahaha*

7. One of my most favourite bloggers of all time is now following my blog <3 <3 <3 Go check out Stoff im Gehirn - so awesome <3

Also as a honorable mention this week: I am going to participate in a book challenge created by my dear Nezumi and Sasija. It will be held in German though but if you want me to translate you parts of the challenge please don't hesitate to ask me <3

Have a nice start into this week~

Autumn Feelings~

Hello sweeties <3

October has come and so has autumn. For me this is the time of long walks, reading and relaxing at the warmth and comfort at my home. To get the right autumn feel I was putting together some things that symbolize this season for me :3 Here you go~

Scented Candles - My favourite brands here are Yankee Candles and Bath and Bodyworks. I totally love all bakery scents. My favourites at the moment are: Merry Marshmallow and Vanilla Cupcake from Yankee Candles~
Books - at the moment I am reading The feast of all Saints...well, I am reading all year around but in autumn/winter I read far more as I don't really want to go out in the cold and rather stay at home and read *haha*
Cozy Hats - Well, that one is obvious *haha* And if the hats are cute it is even more fun to wear them :3
Make-Up in darker colors - Although I am still wearing pastel colors even in autumn, I love to put on darker make-up in autumn to match the "spirit" of autumn ;)
Body Butter - As it gets colder my skin also gets really dry and itchy so I need my body butters.
Hand creme in every scent - I am addicted to hand creme and in autumn/winter I can't stop myself ^^"
Hot Cocoa or tea - as it gets colder you need to get warm also from the inside ;)
Watching DVDs - Especially Dracula and Interview with a Vampire belong to autumn for me. I watch those movies at least once every year in autumn...this is kinda my tradition *haha*

What are you connecting with autumn? Do you have any special "traditions"?

Have a nice weekend <3

I am in love...

...with my Kindle <3 If you love books as much as I do you definitely should check out the amazon Kindle. As of now there are various different versions. There even is a HD version of the Kindle Fire...but if you just want to read on your travels and don't want to take a suitcase full of books with you the normal Kindle (4) is perfect for your needs. I got mine for only 65 EUR during a sale. Normally it is 79 EUR but I think for an eReader thsi is pretty inexpensive :) I am also using the Kindle to read my beloved manga :3 You can also directly download books to your Kindle via WLAN and there are special deals from time to time. Recently there was a special spring sale on amazon where I got many many books for under 2 EUR ^^v

I haven't decided how I should name him...I just know that it is a "boy" xD Crazy, right? But all my technical devices had names so far. My current laptop is called Sebaschan because it is black and he is listening to all my orders...like a good butler should, right? ;)

One of the first books I bought to "feed" to my Kindle was Die Magier von Montparnasse by Oliver Plaschka. Milky Rose was recommending this book to me :) I think I will read it on my flight to Japan as I probably won't be able to sleep than ^^"

What are you reading at the moment? Do you have any books that you can recommend to me?

Have a nice Thursday my dearies~

October Favourites :3

Hello there~

recently I have been watching many many vlogs and among all those videos some especially caught my attention: The ones where people talk about their monthly favourites :) And as I think this is a great way to get some inspiration I also want to share my favourites, not only in beauty but in general.

1. Fairytales (old and new ones ;D)
If you love the old-fashioned circus that still keeps its mysteries you should definitely read that book :)
Grimms Fairytales...autumn (and winter) are the time for fairytales in my opinion :) Got this awesome book for only 5 Euro at the bookstore...I love the design. They made it look ragged on purpose and that gives it yet another special charm.

Goodreads

Hello Sweeties <3

Just a short information for all the people who love to read and want to connect to other people ;) My collegue recently introduced me to Goodreads and I love that page. There you can add the books you read to a virtual shelf, talk about them with your friends, make a list of want-to reads and so on...it is really great site to get inspiration for your next read - so check it out ^^

Also add me if you already have an account on there - AliceHearts on Goodreads

What are you reading at the moment? I am currently switching between books *haha* This is kind of a habit of mine I am doing since years xD I am reading The Wolf Gift by Anne Rice and The Night circus by Erin Morgenstern. I will probably do a kind of "review" of the books and how I liked them in the future...maybe ;)

Wish you a nice and pleasent day~
