Last week here in Germany we celebrated Easter and as we had a long free weekend I decided it was time to visit my parents again <3 I went there last Thursday and sadly had to return on Tuesday as work was calling again ;) As usual I had a really great time at my parents place - we talked a lot, I took many walks as the weather was really awesome and I met one of my dearest friends who I know for 15 years already - Time really flies *hahaha*

Today will be different as I want to take you back to times long past...meaning my childhood ;) Most of you won't even know the shows I will talk about but I assure you, after you get used to the oldschool style and the "crappy" animation those TV shows are really worth a watch. But lets start~
1. The Galaxy Rangers
The show is from the 80s but I actually watched it in the 90s...well, I am older but not that old ;) It is the story about 4 people who through different circumstances become a team and somehow try to save the galaxy from evil. The story is pretty generic but awesome nonetheless ;)
2. Thundercats
Well, this one is just epic! And I just noticed that there is also a new show that was produced in 2011/12 and that I am going to watch. So if you don't like the 80s animation, maybe the 2011 version is something for you ;) Although I can't say anything about that yet ^^"
3. Saber Rider
Well, no nostalgic post without Saber Rider. Although it is a Japanese anime it never really made it big in Japan. Only after being altered for American TV it became a really big hit in the 80s and 90s. As kids my friends and I even played out certain epidodes of the show...and to this day I am still a total fan of Fireball <3
4. Queen Millennia
Well, this anime was also altered for western viewers...I also only know the western version. And also it confused me alot I still loved it. I think this was actually the first anime I ever watched...I was six years old I think xD And remembering it I don't think this anime was meant to be watched by a six year old me *hahaha*
There were many more shows that I watched when I was really young. I watched many things that were not supposed for a 6-8 year old during that time and maybe that is the reason I am a bit not "normal" but especially the above four shows stayed in my mind. They were the start of my obsession with animation, especially Japanese animation...and there were many more shows to come that I was obsessed with *hahaha*
You might think "What? Another post? So soon?"...well, as I have some inspiration and time in my hands I am just going to post the last part of my holiday adventures now...before I will be gone in the shadows for another two weeks...well hopefully not...but anywayson to the post XD
On my last Friday of my holidays (21.09.) I met up with a friend from highschool...we FINALLY, after three years of never getting a date that suited as both, we met up to catch up on stuff, shop (I will make a post about what I got that day later...hopefully ^^") and talk about the good old times...that day kinda made me feel really really homesick and wish back the good old times without too many worries...buhuut thats not gonna happen and well, my life now is not as bad either. Only sometimes you wish for the old times to return and just be a rather stupid teen again (makes me sound so old, that I am not XDD)
Pandapillow *O* I want that sooooo much...but didn't have the money for that *sobs* Well, maybe Santa hears me and gets one for me *hehehe*
Castle Wildeck...during school days me and my friends would often go to the little park there during our lunchbreak and just chat.
If you follow that way you reach the house were my grandparents lived while I was at school...I would often stay at their place as it was only a 10 minutes walk to school (instead of 30 minutes with bus from my parents place xD)
I don't think this bench is actually used by anyone as it is on a bridge near the main street but I walked by it on my way to school from my grandparents flat...so great deal nostalgia to that *haha*
And another cute corner of the town filled with tons of memories...and I am feeling a little homesick again already xD"
I am feeling rather nostalgic today :3 So I decided I make a list (because I love making lists xD) of my 10 favourite anime I watched as a kid...maybe you also remember some of them and can tell me what you liked or disliked about them ;)
This list is random, meaning that I loved (and still love) all those anime to the same degree :)

How are you? Sorry for not blogging for a rather long time but to be honest there was not really something blogworthy that happened during the past two weeks. Well I went too visit my friends in Erlangen last week but other than eating and talking and eating again we didn't do that much ^^" But I still have some pictures for you ;)
I met the Sandman from my childhood...not the creepy one who comes into your dreams and gives you nightmares. well~ for me the "GDR-Sandman" is the only real one *hahaha*
That makes me feel all nostalgic :3 I really loved to watch it when I was small...I also kinda hated it because watching it meant that I had to go to bed short after xD
Here is one outfit I wore during that weekend that I really like...I decided I would go without Lolita for that weekend just because I was to lazy to bring all the stuff with me ^^" I kinda regretted it at one point but well...decided it didn't matter and that I could still have fun without being all dressed up *hahaha*
I think most of the stuff I am wearing is from H&M ^^" I love that store atm...and I love those shoes so much...they may not look like it but they are super comfy *_*
I kinda like that picture of myself...don't ask me why...maybe it is the shoes xDDD I also love the dress...I think it is really gorgeous...when I saw it in the store I didn't really like it and thought it looked like some curtains but after trying it on I totally fell in love :3
If you ever visit Erlangen you have to eat at Hiro Sakao...best Japanese Food there :) The Udon were awesome <3
Well~ that was last weekend for me...realized how much I miss my friends and how much I want to be with them but at the same time noticed that I can't keep on living in the past and clinging to memories...although I still love all my friends and don't wanna miss them in my life, me living so far away from them now definitely changed some of my relationships...but I think this is also a good opportunity for me to change myself and get one step closer to the person I want to be *hehehe* Except from this insight I also decided I definitely will celebrate my birthday in Japan next year *hr hr hr* Wish me luck on that plan ;)
