2013 is finally coming to a close. It was a year of many ups and downs and I am somewhat glad that the year is finally over. But now is not the time to think about the bad things that happened. As today is the last day of 2013 I want to recount the good things that happened this year :)

It feels like Christmas~

Due to work and the overall stress before Christmas it took me pretty long to get in the Christmas mood ^^" Last weekend the spirit finally hit me when we went to the Christmas Market in Esslingen and so I thought I could also finally do a Christmas post with asking you some questions? I will answer them myself too, of course ;) 

How do you celebrate Christmas? Do you have any special traditions?

We have loads of them that never change *hahaha* On the 22nd or 23rd the Christmas Tree will be decorated and we prepare plates of sweets for everyone. We also watch fairytales the whole time. On the 24th we have a special Christmas Dinner with Linsen and Bratwurst as it is a traditional meal in the Ore Mountains...it is supposed to give you riches in the following year. The 25th and 26th mainly consist of eating xD

What do you love most about Christmas?

I love getting presents but for me the greatest thing is to finally see my family again and to see their happy faces while unwrapping the gifts I selected for them ^o^ Just spending time with my loved ones is the greatest thing at Christmas :3

Do you decorate your home for Christmas?

I do *points down* ;)

Gingerbreadhouse of doom...it was my first try and it looks more like a shack but well...I kinda like it so I use it as decoration XD

I have this snowman since like forever...you can put incense inside and he starts to smoke his pipe :3 And of course the nutcracker belongs to Christmas as well ^o^

Not in my room but I love pyramids like that...they remind me of home *_*

Do you have a favourite Christmas movie?

Mine would definitely be "3 Hazelnuts for Cinderella" - I watch it every year and still love it to death *_*

And last but not least - a non Christmas song that reminds you of Christmas? Why?

For me it is "Key of the Twilight" from .hack/sign by Kajiura Yuki. In Japan I heard it all time during Christmas and while burning incense cones and eating the Christmas Cake my mother send me. In my mind it is connected to Christmas forever :)

Maybe some of you will answer my questions and also post about them :)

7 things...or lets pretend it is still Monday ;)

Yep...I am kinda late again but with all the preparations for Christmas and my visits to the doctor I kinda forgot to post my 7 things yesterday *ahahaha* ^^" But that doesn't mean they didn't happen ;)

1. The "Dreaming Cinderella" JSK arrived and it is so gorgeous *_* I will post some pictures of it later but believe me it is a dream come true...only thing I have to get used to is the dropped waist but hey, it makes I nice shape so it will not be too hard :3

2. Watched "Frozen" with my colleagues and it was sooooo nice...I love Olaf cuz he loves hugs....and so do I <3 <3 <3

3. Finally finished my headdress for the Chrismas Meet-Up in Stuttgart on Sunday *yay me* Burned myself a couple of times while building it but it was worth it...or what do you think?

I used a normal headband and just glued everything onto it XD

4. Bought new black boots for all the new black dresses that will move into my closet :3

 

 In all black :) I hope they are as comfy as they look xD

5. Went to the Christmas market in Esslingen with my sweet girls from Stuttgart and we had loads of fun even though it was sooooooo cold *brrrrr*

6. Was complimented for my Co-Ord that I wore on Sunday by a Lolita who isn't only one of my dearest friends but also a really great inspiration *happy desu* <3

7. Already lost 2 kg with the "Schlank im Schlaf" - dietary change *yay* :3

Some time ago I was tagged by the lovely Jade from Princess Snow White and now I finally have the time to answer her 10 questions :3

1. What is your first memory?

*thinks* Okay, this may sound creepy because actually most people have their first memory only after the age of four but my memory is before that. I remember being bathed in a yellow bathtub for little babies and my thoughts were something on the line of "This person definitely is not my mommy!". Seriousely, I don't think that such a memory is even possible but this is the first memory I can think of *ahahaha*

2. Did you experience bullying?
Unfortunately yes, I even skipped school because of that and at one point I had to go to counselling sessions - but fortunately this is in the past now. When I think about why people bullied me I somewhat understand why they were doing it [not that I do approve of bullying in any way]...they might have been even more insecure that I was and well, when I was in school anime and manga were still considered childish  or gross. Nothing a normal person would read or watch. They just didn't understand I think. But anyways, this lies in the past now...and I have met many awesome people in the past years that are as crazy as I am and who made my life worthwhile <3

3. Is there a song you can't bear to listen to?
*thinks* Well, I would have to say "Tears" from X-Japan...I love this song to pieces but everytime I hear the first tune I instantely start to cry...it is such a beautiful song but it is hard for me to listen to it ^^"

 

4. What are you bad at but would love to be good at?
Too many things *ahahaha* But I would have to say knitting...I know how to do it but I am not patient enough to get one piece done ^^" 

5. What kind of food do you absolutely dislike?
Tomatoes...they are so slimy @.@ I can eat tomatosoup and everything made out of tomatoes though...I only can't stand the raw vegetable >.<

6. How much make-up do you call your own?
You can have a look here xD I think it is waaaaay too much but I can't stop myself from buying new makeup *ahahaha*

7. Do you like parties?
Hm, it depends on my mood...sometimes I really like to go out dancing and have a great time partying but sometimes I want a chilled evening with my friends, watching a movie or having some cocktails :)

8. If you had the chance what would you change in this world?
Well, the list would be endless...but well, I would want the everyone would understand each other and conflicts would be solved without war. Every human is different and has different views on life...we should accept those differences and accept the people as they are without trying to change them.

9. Who is your rolemodel?
My grandmother because even though her life wasn't easy all the time she kept looking forward. She showed me that you can be a strong woman and still be graceful in everything you do. I miss her so so much but in my heart she will always be a part of me ^^

10. How tall are you?
I am 163cm tall...I think that is a pretty good size, right? :3

Yesterday, after a long time, I finally met Thi Lialin again and we had a reall great time doing some shopping, walking over the Christmas market and having Tapas :3 Seriousely, yesterday I really wanted to be a good girl and only buy the things I really needed...but well, as soon as I saw some Limited Editions I couldn't stop myself *ahahahaha* But this haul is for another post ;) Today I want to show you the outfit I wore yesterday :)

Follow your dreams!

Hello sweeties <3

"Follow your dreams!" - That is an easy and also great thing to say but there are not many people really following their dreams. When we are young most of us are full of dreams and we still believe that every one of those dreams is possible. We believe that we can be a princess, a superhero or a superstar. But, lets face it, growing older we learn so much more about the world and we already got our hopes broken for what feels like a million times and thus we stop dreaming those big sparkling dreams. We are afraid that if we dream big we also might fall very very deep. And hey, truth is, this might happen more often than we hope for. Thus we tend to make our dreams shrink...until we are certain that we can achieve them and hey, if not it won't hurt as much, right? Well, I think this is rather sad because, yeah, we might fall harder if we dream bigger but in the end making our dreams smaller only not to get hurt is like betraying the most important person in your life - yourself! 

I know damn well that my dreams are totally outrageous sometimes and if I would tell people they would send me to a psychic ward without further notice...but does that keep me from having and believing in them? No! Because at times if you feel like you are all alone in this world and nobody seems to have a care for you to spare those dreams are the only thing keeping you from giving up. I have to admit that I am to big of a coward at the moment to set things in motion and realize one of my biggest dreams...the wall I created for many years now is still too big to just jump over...but I am not giving up just because of this obstacle. I just know that for me (and everyone else who believes) there is something big waiting at the end of the lane - we just have to fight for it!

OMG~ it is Tuesday again...but for now, lets pretend it is still Monday and I am not too late (again) for this post ;) So, what happened during the last week? Honestly, not very much as due to health issues I have to cut down a bit on my activities. I am stressing myself out to much over everything and thus my health said "Nope! Stop now or I will stop you!"...and so I did ^^" But anyways, I have still 7 great things that I can count down for you :3

1. Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special "The Day of the Doctor" - so epic *O*

2. Got myself a new dress from BTSSB...but I will show this in a later post ;)

3. SAILOR MOON *O* I started watching it again and it feels like years ago when I watched it for the first time. Still my favourite anime of all time <3 <3 <3

4. Went to the cinema with my colleagues and watched "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" and loooooved ot *_*

5. Finally started to read "The Hunger Games"...didn't have the urge after the first movie but now I couldn't stop myself *hahahaha*

6. Nezumi and I decided on a date for our Japan trip next year...it will be November...time enough to save money *muahahahaha*

7.Already got all Christmas presents for my family *muahahaha* It was pretty easy this year around *ngahahaha* Do you also start buying Christmas presents that much in advance?

When I started this blog I did a lot of these tags but than I decided to stop that because there are so many tags out there and I just don't have the time to do them all but this time I make an exception as I was tagged by my dear Nezumi <3 And although the tag is in German I try my best to translate it x"D

So, lets start ^O^ The theme is called "Blogger packen aus" that can be roughly translated with "Blogger show it all"...meaning that I have to answer the following questions with 200% honesty ;)

The questions:

1. What kind of blog are you reading? Why?

The first question and I already have to think pretty hard xD. I really love to read beauty and lifestyle blogs. But I also love blogs about anime and manga. Of course I love, love, love fashion blogs, especially about Lolita and other Japanese street fashion. You see I don't really have preferences on my blog reading habit *hahaha* As I love so many things I also love to read about many different subjects :3

2. Where do you like to shop?

Well, physical shops I would have to say dm, H&M, Blutsgeschwister, Douglas and thrift stores...and bookstores <3. But as I am mostly shopping on the internet I would have to say amazon, Closet Child and ebay...if that even counts as a shop *hahaha* I also love to browse through Modcloth *_*

3. Which blog do you follow/read the longest?

*thinks* Actually I can't really remember. I first started reading blogs on livejournal and some of those blogs don't even exist anymore...I am reading Düsterkitsch for a pretty long time now and absolutely loving it but maybe there is a blog I am reading far longer *hahaha*

4. Which blog did you subscribe to recently?

I think it was Rise and Fall because I love reading about J-Fashion and also slices of life. I think this is a nice blog that has it both :)

 5. What are your favourite 3 Blogs? Why?

Hm, it is really hard to decide. Every blog I am following has something special and I really can't wait for updates on those blogs...but if I really had to decide I would chose Stoff im Gehirn, because she is such a lovely Lolita and I am her [self proclaimed] fangirl #1, Kaninchenherz, because she is such a sweet sweet girl *_* and Licentia Poetica, because where else should I get my reading inspiration ;)

6. Do you like blog parades, challenges or other promotions? Do you do them yourself or are you rather participating?

Well, it depends on the subject if I like them or not. I love challenges and I really love to read blog parade entries but so far I haven't found on that I would participate in myself. As for challenges I just found one today that I will be doing soon :3 I also already did two giveaways and I think they are a great way to thank your followers for keeping up with you :)

7. Did your shopping habits change through blogging? Why?

They definitely changed. Before I would think more about buying yet another blush, eyeshadow etc. but now I see all the LE previews and as soon as the LE is out I need to get it. Also regarding Lolita fashion my habits definitely changed...I am more on the lookout for new prints and if I can find a rather "cheap" one I don't think to much about it and just buy it *hahaha*

8. Do you plan your monthly posts? Where do you get your inspiration?
Hm, I am not really planning every post out to the detail but I have many ideas in the back of my head. On Mondays I have a fixed post about my 7 great things of the past week but so far that is all for planning. The rest gets posted as I live...when I meet special people I post about it, when I see something interesting, when I buy something that I want to share...even when I feel nostalgic or a little bit homesick I might get inspiration and post about it :)

9. Do you answer every comment/E-Mail you receive on your blog?

Yes, or at least I try...sometimes I am so busy that I overlook one comment but I try to answer it nonetheless even if it may take some time. I think it is important to read and answer every comment to stay in touch with the people who read your rantings ;) For me it is really important to know what my readers think about the stuff I am writing down here ^^

10. Last but not least: Do you have any tipps for people who want to start a blog and reach many people?

Hm, I am the type of person just going along with the blogosphere. I think it is important to connect with other bloggers, might it be through comments, following them etc. You can also share your posts on other social platforms as facebook, tumblr or twitter. Also don't post about something that might interest many people but doesn't interest you. Write about the things you like - if you only post because you want E-Fame your blog will not grow and get readers because it will show that you are not behind it with all your heart...and hey, it is not so important how many readers you have - as long as you like what you are doing it is all that matters :)

Hello sweeties <3

While it is still Monday I am going to post my 7 things...well, that is something that hasn't happened for some weeks now *hahaha* So lets start~

1. My dear Nezumi got us VIP Tickets for the Jupiter concert in Cologne in February *O* I can't wait to see them life in concert and to get a picture with them *ngahahahaha*

2. Had a really awesome meet-up with the girls here and met some really nice people for the first time. Hope to see you all very soon again <3

3. Watched "The Host" with my colleague...well, the movie was one of the worst movies I have ever seen but it was nice to chill out and make fun of the movie ^^"

4. Watched Shingeki no Kyojin <3 <3 <3 Yep, finally succumbed *hahaha*

5. A summer teaparty in Rothenburg was announced :3 Can't wait for it to be summe 2014 *_* The theme will be fairy tales...right down my alley *_*

6. Finally went to Esslingen for the first time...and noticed that I already was there in 2008 with my Art history class...duh xD Nonetheless the town is really great *_*

7. Became godparent of a cute little ratboy *_*

Oh my~ it is Tuesday again *haha* Somehow on Monday I am always too tired to think about good things from the last week...probably because it is Monday and the start of the week *hahaha* I really should get my act together and start posting my 7 things on Monday again. But as I am not a time lord (yet) today I have to post it on Tuesday *hihi*

1. Speaking of Timelords, the 50th Anniversary Special from Doctor Who will be shown in cinemas all around Germany on the 23rd of November *yay* They announced it last week so I post this as one of my 7 things ;)

2. Halloween...need I say more? *sings* This is Halloween, This is Halloween... *sings*

3. Met a good friend in Nuremberg after a pretty long time and had a great time :) Also used this occasion to wear Lolita again for a non-Lolita-Meet-Up *hihi*

4. Got into the Sailor Moon vibe again. I love this show so so so much *O* I can't wait for the remake to come out :3

5. Only had a four-day-week at work because of the national holiday here in Germany *yay*

6. Me and my lovely ladies received a Valentine <3 Sadly this week we only had 2 Valentines in total *sighs*

7. Decided on my Co-Ord for the Christmas Meet-Up in Munich :3 Will do something Snow Queen inspired~ I will post about that when I got all the stuff I need...and there may also be a Tutorial of sorts ;)

It is Monday again and thank god that my working week is only three days *yay* On Thursday we are travelling to Vienna to attend the Innocent World Teaparty and to do some sightseeing in Vienna *muahahahaha* But it is not Thursday yet and I need to post 7 great things that happened this week :3

1. Finally got a new camera. After many weeks of contemplating I got myself the Canon EOS 600D *O* Yesterday I tried it out all around my room with the help of Benjamin Jaworskyj  His tutorials are really awesome and I somewhat understand my camera now *yay* ^^b

I experimented with different focus and stuff. I think it came out pretty decent. Only thing I edited in gimp is the black/white. What do you think?

2. Met Nezumi in Stuttgart and we had a really great time doing some shopping ^^

3. Watched Dirty Dancing for the millionth time and still loving every bit of it. Sometimes I do need some kitsch in my life ;)

4. Redecorated my room...yep, for me this is something great and fun *haha*

5. Got an account on Lacebook - Lolita Fashion Snaps :3

6. Created a lookbook-account and had the courage to post my first outfit there :3 If you also have a lookbook I would be glad if you could send me a message so I can follow you :)

Woah~ it is Monday again already...how did that happen? Time flys by so fast I can't really catch up with all the things I want to do and blog about *haha* But anyways, as it is Monday it is time again for 7 great things that happened last week :3

1. I finally got my new glasses *fufufufu* And they are so big O.O In my mind they weren't that big but they totally are...still gotta get used to them but I love them so far :3 *sneaking in an ootd here*

Top: J.Honeys - Cardigan: Bodyline - Skirt/Hat: H&M - Boots: New Yorker - Tights: C&A - Glasses: Be-Yu...What do you think about my new glasses? I loved my old glasses so much so I think I need some time to really get used to those glasses *haha*

2. We had a nice little Meet-Up with the Austrian Lolita Duplica. I really wanted to meet her for a pretty long time. She is a really nice person and I can't wait to meet her again at the IW Teaparty in Vienna :3

3. On the weekend we also had our 3rd local Swap Meet and I sold some stuff...so now I can invest that money in my Teaparty Outfit *hehehehe*

4. Bought the most comfy dress from Emilie Lynn...I really wanted to wear it for forever because it was os comfy...yep, I was wearing it while ironing my dress for the meet-up on the next day x"D

 Love it sooooo much *O*

5. Pumpkin Spiced Latte from Starbucks *om nom nom* Do I need to say more? ;)

6. After what felt like an eternity I had the chance to properly chat with my dear Milky Rose <3 <3 <3

It is Monday and that means 7 great things that happened last week :3

1. My Plan A and Plan B outfits for the IW Teaparty are finally complete. I found a really nice cardigan that matches the outfits I have in mind *fufufu*

Plan B ...the dress for Plan A is still at Emilie Lynn's place xD

2. Was invited to Noir Fleurir's birthday party on Friday and had loads of fun - Thanks for having me :3

3.Got the sweetest letter from my dear Nezumi <3 Thank you so much for letting me be part of your life and for sharing so many things with me *chuuu*

4. FINALLY received the Innocent World order that I thought went missing on its way ^^" But now everyones teaparty is saved *hahahaha*

5. Reached 140 Readers...thank you so so so so so much <3 Never thought that I would reach 50 and now I am over 100 *yay* Well, some would say 140 Readers is nothing to brag about but for me it is really great *O* Thank you so much for keeping up with my ramblings~ <3

6. Found the Babylips from Maybelline at dm...I was lusting after them for a pretty long time already and thought they would never make their way to Germany...but now they are here :3

The design is so cute and they really help moisturize my lips *thumbs up*

7. Had a great photoshoot with Nezumi, Noir and Lady Atropa at Killesberg in Stuttgart :3

Love how the duck in the background just fits perfectly into the setting *haha* I am also planning on doing a tutorial for the hairstyle I was wearing that day,,,it somehow reminded me of Sailor Moon xD

Yeah, I know I am doing this later and later every time but somehow recently I find it hard to get myself up and post about 7 things...I might be deep down in a slump yet again *sighs* But nobody is being helped with me being all whiny, right? So lets start with my 7 things :)

Stop Dreaming and grow up...

...NEVER! If growing up means giving up my precious dreams I rather stay immature and childish forever than grow up and lose my dreams, that the rest of the world might deem childish, unrealizable and immature.

However small or big, realistic or unrealistic you think your dreams might be - don't stop chasing after them! There might even be a chance that at the end of your life you will not be able to realize every dream you had but in the end when you look back at your life and what you did you can be full of regrets that you didn't try OR you can look at your life and say "Yep, I did the best with what I had!" and be proud of what you reached. So, whatever age you are, whatever status in life you possess at the moment, if you really believe in your dreams and yourself you can be everything :) You can either give up without trying or be a superhero, right? ^^b

The possibilities you have are the possibilities you take for yourself. If you don't take a leap of faith once in a while nothing changes...you are the one changing yourself, your future and your possibilities - don't rely on others to give you opportunities!

1. I finally received my Rocking Horse Shoes I ordered 1 month agao *yay*.

2.My first Modcloth-Order arrived and the things are just so awesome~ I already wore my "rainbow unicorn"-dress for a shopping spree with my dear Koo-chan <3

4. Made Matcha Icecream myself for the first time...Eiszauber ftw! Although it was a little bit bitter *coughs* Well, first try and stuff *ahahaha*

5.The awesome swap from America made it's way to my porch <3

6. Jupiters PVs for Scarlet and Nostalgie came out. Really great!!! Love them~ It was also Zin's birthday on Sunday <3

7. Most awesome thing of all: Kamijo's single Louis~艶血のラヴィアンローズarrived at my place and it is so GORGEOUS...I love the song, the video...just everything *_*

Yep, these are two CDs and yep, it is the same single only the A-Type and B-Type...I wanted the PVs but also the interview from the B-type ^^"

Home sweet home - Ore Mountains

Hello sweeties <3

Last week I visited my parents and had a really really great time even though I was lazy most of the time *haha* But it was really great to see my family and home again. Only when I come back home I notice how much I miss this place. At the end I didn't really want to leave T^T ...but work called and I had to go back *sighs*

On Thursday we went to Schloss Wildeck to enjoy the nice weather and scenery :3
